    Bike WOF

Well, I got my first bike WOF today. Damn it was quick and painless. Normally in the car I have to queue for an hour, then watch while they go over every little thing. With the bike I just rode it in, they checked the lights, brakes and tyres and that was it. I was only there for quarter of an hour!! It was awesome!!

And, to top it off, I don't have to get another 1 for a whole year.

I'm not taking the car for WOF's anymore. The missus drives it, she can do it. Hahaha

Tell ya what I don't get.

We have to get a wof, and we have to get a rego. And we can get them from teh same place, using (I think) the same computer records. So WHY can't thet roll one into the other???????? You confrim the owner's details when getting a WOF, (even before you pass or fail), so why does the rego need to be seperate? Is there someone out there who understands the workings of LTSA who can explain this?????

Yep your last annual one is at 6 years then from 7 years old on they are 6 monthly. Make sure you go in for the last annual a couple of days before 6 years, if you leave it just over then it is over 6 years old and you'll only get a 6 month one.
    Cheers

Sounds fuc*ing tempting at those rates! Wof goes up but the fines do not follow at the same rate...
