Saw 280+ north of Twizel (on private hydro road) later in the day the pic was taken with the same loading. Stable as - riding with a GS1200 & SS900 Alex to Chch on delivery voyage.

me and tex went to get some pizza one night, after deciding we werent going to eat it at the shop we duct-taped the boxes to our bikes and rode back about 5km with the pizzas on the back.
