    Re trail ride

hey Brian, good question, a trail ride is not a race as such, just a whole lot of random riders, family/mates/strangers, can ends up in a whole lot of small races between mates, often on large farms or sheep stations, sometimes two or three farms joined up to make one big area to ride.

Normally atleast 1 main track/trail that would be rideable by most skill levels, often having detours round harder terrain, or loops with more techincal stuff for those who want more of a challange.

Given the landscape of most high country/hill farms, there are nearly always very cool natural occurring jumps, with some good air time.

Often some form of water crossing is involved,, trail rides have marshalls, to help and keep order and medical assistance, plus breakdown/recovery help.

They are heaps of fun and alawys good rides.
