Good on ya for having a wind up at his wannabe Rossi look...should have carried it on more though and really made him squirm...and had a go at the shiney knee sliders. Sounds like a right

    Quite like Finns idea though..

Hmm. I think Mike the Bike usually wore black leathers, too.

I removed my helmet and said Hi, sorry what was that? He repeated it and abused me for having an attitude. A little bemused, i asked him what did he mean? He went to rant about Harley guys wanting to be gang members because we all wear black leather and think we are hard men. I smiled (it is worth mentioning here that he had a Rossi replica helmet, full race leathers with hump and sliders, race boots and race gloves). I asked him was he on his way to Manfield or Pukekohe for a race? He looked a bit bemused...I said well it seems to me that you are dressed like a racer so you must be one or are you just trying to look like one? He stalked off with a few more obscenities....I am well aware that there are dickheads who ride Harleys who think they are hard men or better than other people but there are just as many dickheads who ride other bikes who think they are Rossi or the next best thing. What is it with people? I know the softail doesnt go round corners as well as an R1 but so what? I know it doesnt do 250kph..so what? I ride because its fun..isnt that why we ride? Just curious to get people's views....
This was a prime time to practice your head butt skills followed by some dance practice.
You should of knocked the cunt on his arse and stepped on him till he stopped moaning. As to HIS problem, apart from not having enjoyed a REALLY good kicking from somebody that enjoys their work, is that he's exactly what he's complaining about. That goes for most of his type, the brand of bike they ride has nothing to do with it.The things they complain of in others are often more true of their own personaltys.
Actualy I can't work out why you even bothered talking to the prat,if it had happened to me when I owned my Shovel I would of said nothing,an just smashed the dick.

Good on you for keeping your cool in that situation and managing to match the dickheads witt, or maybe I should say his lack of. It annoys me sometimes to have other people who ride sportbikes saying I should get a "Real" bike or making fun of the Hyosung brand.

I imagine it is the same in all areas, you get dickheads and then you get the real motorcyclist who admire bikes - plain and simple.

However it has its good points as cowpoos mentioned, it makes it easier to pick the people you want to be associated with.

My 10 year old daughter has watched to much TV, and told me when we were in the car at the lights, "look, theres some destiny church people". I asked how she knows where these people are, she said " those guys on the Harleys".

Now I dont know about you, but which affiliation would a Harley rider prefer....
    Gang member or church member.

It is quite amazing how some people will lable you before they meet you based on what you ride.

well put dickheads like the one mentioned should get out of motorcycling and find themsleves some other fashionable hi profile leisure activity because there is no room for them in the biking community
