You could get done for careless, but you'd have to do something in addition to texting. Crossing the centreline, hitting another vehicle, etc.
    Speed doesn't kill people.
    Stupidity kills people.

LEDs, right. Use 'em for tail-lights and such.

So what if one had an array of LEDS across the back of the bike. Quite legal methinks, is the tail/brake light.

But, a special switch switches some of the LEDS off. So that ones left spell words. *SUITABLE* words! Then all y'need to do is get in front of cage and flick the switch. And if you hooked up a little microprocessor and a wee keypad, the words could be dynamic.

Shit this is brilliant. We've got a bazillion electronic boffins on here, wotz it need to make it a goer ?
Someone in Oz or somewhere did it for a car, goes on the parcel tray in ya back window.

But once you've surgically sponged it into ya tail section on ya bike, what about puttin' a microphone in ya helmet and get one of those programs that converts speaking into words, then that gets scripted across ya LED's.

Can say huge screeds then rather than having to hit a button, or 4, with only select words on 'em. Just gotta sample out the engine or you'll get a consant stream of V's across ya LED.

What do you mean it was a female??? They can multi-task effortlessly. It was obviously a male who couldn't drive AND text at the same time.

I presume you knocked on "his" door? with your boot?

I've seen a motorcycle courier on a street magic reach into his jacket and pull out his phone, presumably checking his txt's / where his next delivery was or something...
