Went to see Sarge at Colemans today (don't worry Lou, your turn is tomorrow) to pick up some info on the MV. Guys, I gotta say that the GSXR 1000 K6 in one sexy beast in the flesh. If that had been around when I was looking I probably would have got one. Okay the welding looks like it was done by a pre-schooler but it's pretty damn fine.

Finn!! If I had a C4S in my garage, the obvius commuter, next to a commisioned B king would be this MOFO BEEARTCH!!!

King of the city material here!!

Bearing in mind zook zook has you, GSXR 750 with stubby muffler is the MAN!! (and ever so slightly cheaper than Macchia Nera)

Hmmm - the man can afford it - if he desires a Brutale R to commute to work, who are we to naysay him or suggest "sensible" alternatives - what has sensibleness got to do with it!
If we were sensible, we'd all have died of boredom by now......

    Just do it!

(if he comes to a squidly end - we can all laugh at him some more.....)

Allow not nature more than nature's need
And man's life were cheap as beast's.

    Arrow Phew!

For a moment I wondered if you was coming out of the closet. Dunno about everyone else but I reckon just get exactly what you want if you can afford it. I got the DRZ for the same sort of thing with the added bonus of riding offroad. Since you have that sorted and have the cash I reckon ride the lot and then decide exactly what it is that your after.

Man you're in a lucky place Finn. No matter what you pick - you win. Life's too short to drink the house wine so go top shelf. Either the MV or Superduke will make you smile every inch of the 3.6km commute. I've ridden the Duke and Speedtriple and I'd go for the Triple. Good point someone made about motards with wide bars. I thought my short spell with an America to ride to work was clever. Backfired for a commute - Bloody wide bars forced me to back off on half the lane splitting.
You're a suit too hey. Makes it hard to use the bike when you got to keep the 'work overalls' spick and span - have to pick my days to use the bike carefully.
Let us all know what you decide. Nice profile pic of the Repsol but that weird matt grey helmet visor??? how the hell do you see through that.

Trust me, you don't. I battle with corporates all day long, get screwed by "some" of the staff and basically all of my suppliers and my 1/3 unwanted shareholder (Labour) try their best to fuck me over at every opportunity.

The grass is always greener over the septic tank.

Ask anyone that has met me. I'm a stunner. If I didn't grey out my face, I'd have all the chicks & homo's on KB PM'ing me. I have enough on my plate as it is.
