I still think your choice is all about posing, or maybe I'm just too old and sensible now. If you were buying the bike for something like it's intended purpose I wouldn't have posted my first comments. You strike me as one of those yuppy wankers who buys a bike to be a "bikie" only to end up a yuppy wanker with a bike.

Also, sad to say, but at the moment and for some time I haven't had anything to ride. Except the MB/RG bucket racer which I get a real kick out of riding. Just for info - I do pay taxes.

I must be having a hard day!

    god you're a homo speedpro.
    who are you to judge?
looks to me that you are the wanker.

After reading all the reviews the CBR seemed to be the most forgiving so that's what I got. Add my dirt bike and the street magic and I'm turning into bike freak. But it doesn't stop there.

Because of the traffic, I've decided to sell my pride and joy car and get a street bike to travel to work. This is a big decision for me cause I've always been a car nut and I'm really attached to it. However, I only use it to go to and from work and on the weekend I'd rather ride than drive. I've still got an SUV that the misses uses so we'll still have a vehicle.

I normally wear a suit so I'm getting a wardrobe at work so I'll get changed there. Sorted.

Now I've looked at the BMW 1200R and KTM Super Duke but I keep coming back to the MV Agusta Brutale. There's an R version coming into the country shortly so I might get this.

    Big step! Whatta yah reckon?

Saw an ad a few years ago for some diesel powered Enfields... all the power none of the economy, or something like that, 19 horsepower of ball ripping grunt, with enough gas in it for Finn to commute for a year!! With an 18:1 compression ratio, must go fast!!!!

The standard Massimo Tamburini-designed 910cc Brutale is already one of the most beautiful naked bikes ever and is essentially a stripped down, shorter-stroke version of the Italian firm’s iconic F4 1000 superbike. The R is just that bit more special, with more power and mouth-watering chassis goodies.'
Typical MCN crap. It is NOT a downstroked version of the 1000, it is a bored and stroked 750. the 1000 didn't fit in the Brutale frame.

I reckon you should go for the Brutale. Bloody good garage there Finn, and don't forget to post pictures.

I'm well pleased that it's a total prick of a job to choose! I thought, great, money no object, lets go wild on ol Finn. However, even with max dosh to drop, it's a pretty hard choice. Big ccs are a bit of a waste, and a big bike isn't the lane splitter needed for this mission. Scooters are well ghey, scratch them too. Hate to say it, still looking like a SuperMotard is still the way foward! Having said that, saw the 06 R6 and man is that tiny! Could definitely split hard out on that baby.

obviously your not a splitter of Auck traffic but the wide bars of a motard would be a downer alot of the time, could always pop in on to one wheel to fix this though
