They're very popular among students in Auckland, so theres always a few in the local bikewreckers. To be honest i didn't do the looking when i binned mine, the mechanic sourced a few replacement bits and bobs for me. But in response to my elation at the low cost of the repairs i was told "parts were cheap."

$50 for a clutch cover gasket, $120 for rear tail light, $20 for clutch/brake levers, $300 for the complete rear fairings(they crack like crazy when they hit the tarmac), $12 for Indicators. and thats from Road and Sport Hamilton who I'm pretty sure aren't very cheap.

I the distances wouldn't hurt the bike at all but its how you ride it. At 140~150 you can't hear the engine so you may not realise how much your stressing it but you can't hold that speed comfortably. Bloody nice engine though.

    Damn, that Lifan is ugly
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods
