I don't care about my body. I can just imagine how the carbons from the unburnt oil would add up and cause shit.

I presume it is treated the same as a diesel and he has to pay road user charges so the Government still get their whack of tax?
    Cheers

Nup, no taxes I'm aware of as it's not a recognised fuel as petrol or diesel is.

I think (correction welcome) that all non-petrol road vehicles get hit with RUC.

I'd assume that anything running on vegetable oil would originally have been a diesel (well, technically, still is, but you know what I mean )

I think we have more to worry about from "normal" fuel, remember how the new diesel started destrying jappa engine seals??? WTF was up with that making us pay for the repairs

Anyways diesels can run on most anything, sometimes when a diesel get worn out enough it'll run on its lubricant, which means you cant turn the engine off!!!

The sulphur swelled the seals, removing the sulphur returned the seals to their original size - shrunk because they were old.

Are you saying he runs a petrol engine on oil?

Exactly what he was saying in the article. Nothing done to the motor and runs as good as on petrol, just smells like fried food .. for some reason.
I mean it would have to be filtered well of course.

Just a cock up by the newspaper, the 2 litre car will be a diesel,so will the 4x4 - no way will a petrol engine run on vege oil,but a diesel will happily.
