Bet they won't have a boulevard boulevard.....
Oh,fucking choice eh man! A permanent 4 ring dog fighting pit....rape rooms, all the stuff a biker town needs....
Oh,hang on....it's the 21st century, these guys are only bikers on their days off, they'll hold dentist conventions there, real estate seminars, and you'll be able to keep an eye on the stock market from the bar.Finn will love it - right wingers bikers town.
Yep. You got it.
From the article
Oh, the BAD ASSES ! (Sorry Mr Hitcher, but needs must)Motorcyclists, once thought of as outlaws and renegades, have moved into the American mainstream, Smith said.
"The old stigma of the biker is gone," said Smith, known to his friends as Wayne. "It's corporate America. It's lawyers, bankers, all kinds of people. They put their leathers on and when they're here drinking a beer together, they're all brothers."
Ichabod, Ichabod. No wonder bikers get no respect these days, people think we're all posing plonkers.

Well of course, it is still quite possible to work in an office and still ride to work. Many bikers are bikers 7 days a week. Or, at any rate miss only the odd day.

Kind of like a permanent rally or cafe stopover for bikers!
Still like the idea and the increase in value would have made it worth while just to have a go, don't think I would have lost money even if it didn't work.
20/20 hindsight again, just lacked the balls to do it. Cheers John.
PS: It is a Motel complex now.
I wear leather gloves at work, does that help?
Working in the brothels bondage room?![]()

My God. I used to do audits of that place a few years back when I was with Electricorp... err, ECNZ... err Meridian... err they must be due for another change. 1988 to about 1992. I suppose it's the same place. Just off the left of the main road as you come in from the Kurow end?Originally Posted by oldrider

Many, but not the majority i would think. That dose,nt make the ones who leave there riding till the weekends any less enthusiastic.Originally Posted by Ixion
No, though perhaps less exposed to the mercies of commuting cages. But you are quite correct that some bikers are proscribed.
Though I wonder how many bosses would have to nerve to lay down a strict "no motorcycles for commuting" rule. I would dearly have loved to have one of them try that on some-one when I was a union delegate. Wherez me flat cap. All out bruvvers, until management apologise for their their truculent antiworker aggression.
I think I might start a poll on this.
