    Cop on the lookout

A friend got pinged yesterday on Woodcocks rd, cop wrote him up for 149kms and told him that he sits there every day when is fine (guess there's more chance of bikes) waiting for the AKL boys coming up and using Woodcocks rd. So if you intend to take Woodcocks from h/way 16 through to Warkworth then take it easy around Southern Paprika ( huge building and glass house's) closer to Warkworth.............

That Cop sounds like a dickhead.

Do you know if it is a marked or un-marked vehicle?

Dont know swanny, easy to find out, Linden didnt know he was there till he went to turn into his driveway, he even made Linden push his bike up the driveway cos he lost his licence for 28 day plus $600 fine

Hmmm... green XR8 guy might be him BUT he is a biker eh swanny

Never seen a pig along there but a 250 don't have enough room to really get up to those speeds much really, I'll just keep it nice and legal thrashing then next time

Well might be same car but different cop.

The one that pulled me up was a top bloke and a biker. His concern is the welfare of bikers.

If the cop made him get off and push it up the driveway he is a right tosser. For one its private property so yah' mate can do whatever he likes.

I guess he has just be re-stationed there from Auckland or some shit.

They should of never sealed that road - when it was gravel there was only one bike that used it as a race track.Bloody sprotsbike squids, they spoil it for everyone....

The one through Tauhoa (sp) called Kaipra Hills Road or similar?

Most of that is still gravel.

I use to race along there on a A100 and my XR80 when I stayed with my sister. Ah those where the days when I thought 70kmp/h was scary fast.

The east side is sealed to Hoteo- I usualy do a loop from SH16 Mt Auckland entrance to Hotea, then out to Tauhoa on the gravel. One of the very best roads I've ever ridden.

Now, what if the sign said "Drive carefully. Speed cameras in operation in this area " ? After all, the LTSA themselves put up such signs. Can't be obstruction to advise people to obey the law. Sounds like the early days of the RAC. "If a scout fails to salute, stop and ask the reason why".
