    help!!! bike won't start!!

    hi.. i have a cbr250. just had a cruise 2weeks ago but today when i try to start the bike the engine was running for 20sec and died by it self. so i pulled chock and started again but died after 20sec again.so i turned the fuel button and now it's not even going to start. can anyone help me to make it go again? any help will be great.

    Is there plenty of petrol in the tank?

    yep..there is 1/4 tank of petrol in there.

    Does the fuel tap have a PRIME position and have you tried it in that position.

    If it ran OK for 20secinds and died it is probably lack of fuel.Try filling the tank up.

    Hey,
    Had similar problems with my bike but mine had a prime switch... Flicked it round to that for 6 seconds, flick it back and starts first time every time now... but we also found that the spark plug leads were in the wrong slots and apparently that makes a different (am no bike mechnic so dont really know) but from what i saw, and it helped...
