Holy Hell! Google Maps now includes New Zealand!

    Oh so Awesome.

The best map utility in the world now includes Australia and New Zealand.

Would be a great utility for planing rides etc, I certainly intend to use it.
And you run and you run to catch up with the sun, but it's sinking. Racing around to come up behind you again.

F##k When I try to open it all I get is "MSN has experienced an internal error and will have to restart" I can get 'google earth' ok and I can zoom that in close enough to see the bike in the driveway.

they should do an overlay on google earth - that would be good in the 3d view.

was looking good till i kept getting "this section cant be viewed, try zooming out" but it will get better soon i hope.... although it has a long way to go before it is comparable to mapquest in the states.. that site rocks....

I don't see that it has anything over Wises or Zoomin as far as the map aprt goes . The satellite view would be useful, but at any worthwhile zoom it just says no can do

Once google has the same level of map detail as in the UK it will make Wises and Zoomin look like a toy.

Eg , From our old flat in London to Tower Bridge , Directions , distances etc and you can zoom in close enough to view the old neighbours cars.

If you have an artistic streak then sketch up is really cool :-) can't wait until I can get some time to have a play with it.
