    Comfort Mod

Hey guys - who here has had a play with their seat to make it fit better and be more comfortable?

If so - where do you recommend taking it?

Mines like a plank. Also - after sitting in the seat for long enough it becomes apparent that its not actually wide enough and the plastic sides of the seat start to cut into my ass.

    lovely huh.

so apart from calling me a pussy - anybody had a go and re-padding and re-appolistring their seat?
    gone.

To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods

You could try taking the carrot out.

Hey Lazy, yeah my father in law does custom seats. he is man to see, we adjust your seat to fit your ass.
Over all the best way for you to go about it, is come down a saturday morning(early) we modify the foam on the seat, and then you ride back home again, courier us the seat on monday back down. and you will have it back by friday again. with new cover and the like. and also if you have any problems with riding it back home you can tell us and we can just before putting the new cover back on.

website is www.trimit.co.nz or just pop down some time, (drop us a email, phone,pm) the day or so before so we know you are coming

What the hell are you babbling about lazy?? I reckon the 7's seat is bloody good, especially compared to the new bikes.

The new ones are like sitting on a plank for sure (sometimes a pinching plank to boot )

I thought the 7 was quite good, since it wraps around a bit at the base of the tank, whereas other seats don't wrap as much...
