    A girl's new seat

I've been procrastinating for the past 6 months about getting myself a Rider seat. The problem wasn't deciding whether to get one - it was deciding what to get done. After all, "Daddy" is Mr McDonald Motor Trimmer (www.trimit.co.nz) so I could get whatever I wanted.
It HAD to be different to anything we've ever done before and, being a girl's bike, it had to scream out "girl".
Finally, and after much frustration, I managed to make a decision. What do ya reckon, does it say "girl" to you?

MotoGirl embroidered on the back is a give away, but you'd have to be pretty close or parked to see it.

    Looks good.

re: price, I get "family discount". We're still working on our pricing structure for this type of design.

We've built up the rear of the seat (my arse doesn't use that part anyway) - this is where the Motogirl logo is. We've also built up the front of the seat to stop me sliding forward into the tank. I deliberately chose a smooth vinyl so I can easily move off the seat when I just want to nail it.

It still looks sporty and the comfort is far superior to the standard seat!

Those Rider Seats look wicked. I have one on my wish list, the factory ZZR seat gets a bit painful after a few hundred K's.

my Kinetic gets rather painful when just heading on a straight road.. it's one of those seats that likes to be 'moved around in'

Sure does. It's that V look that's the give away. That's courtesy of the Da Vinci Code.

One of our model seats (that we take away to shows etc) is purple and orange and it looks AWESOME. Previous to my own seat, I think my all-time favourite is from on a customer's blackbird, which has the CBR1100XX logo embroidered on it.

We're currently playing with taking shapes from the bike and using them on the seat. Although that picture doesn't show it, the silver on the seat is the same as the decals on the tank.

    Arrow Great look Blooveeteeah

Does it improve the comfort level on longer rides at all?

Yes it screams femininity!!! Nice workmanship.

I've been thinking about getting your dad to do my seat too, more to make it extra comfortable than anything, your hubby said it would be a marked improvement cos the Honda foam is inferior...still deciding if I can be bothered?
