hey man, not good to hear - my guess is its more of a wet-weather related problem. (possibly flooded due to first start+stop)

wheres the bike? is it safe? do you need somewhere to put it over night? what about asking unc b or someone if you can borrow a trailer?

yea, i'd try to start it and then crash start it if all else fails, then get to the bottom of the hill and go "OH FUCK" but look on the bright side, your fxr is far lighter than the 184 kg dry vtz or the 140ish kg dry bandit

also seem i keep my bike outside in the rain ive taken to putting an empty small pringles can over the exhaust to stop most of the rain getting into the engine (yea i know its not very effective...)

hehe, hes taken, but im single

and besides, the fxr is 'lectric start aint it?

this did give me an idea though - we need a trailer service should this happen (atleast us who arnt with the AA etc)

so i figure im going to talk to others about setting up such a service here in welly, or mabye even if people donated their trailers to KB then everyone can pay to use them thus raising funds for the site. whadd'ya reckon?

Oh, so it is. The KRR is kick only, so I figured other 150's would be too.

My first option when anything won't go is to kick it....toaster, tv, mother-in-law.....

The FXR is electric and kick start. The electric start seems to drain alot of battery power, so yeah, I had to do alot of kicking. I was getting pretty pissed off which helped I just had to remember to kick the kick start and not other parts of the bike.

To be honest, I'm still not sure whats wrong with it. It eventually started from kicking so much.

It's been suggested that after my ride to Napier recently, the spark plug has carboned up and along with the cold weather, it's not getting enough spark. It's also been suggested that it's running too lean.

I've got to get the sparkplug out to have a look. Trouble is i dont have the tool for that so I'm gonna have to buy one.

Hmmm, that could be good. Is it the toolkit that came with your bike, cause if it is it's prob got a sparkplug tool in there. I'm gonna go get a new plug at about 12 but I won't be able to put it in till tonight or late this arvo. What you up to this arvo?
