    Old School

    Hi folks, im a newbie here. Im a bike nut i like the old stuff cause im a bit into DIY. i currentky own a 1977 gs 750, ive had a 1984 750katana, 2 tx500 both 1972, a honda 500/4 and 350/4 both around 74 a gt350, cb 360twin and more old mx bikes than i care to remember. wud luv to meet and ride with sum other owners of old bikes wheter its a quick trip to akaroa or woteva. also wanna try sum road racing as the mx has already fucked me up but havnt had any good road spills yet. buckets sound like a fun place to start, so any1 with info on the chch scene drop me a line. im a registered nurse so i really shouldnt play with such toys but wot the hell, endless hours of entertainment. i also enjoy horse ridin, scuba divin (18yrs) and drinkin mass quantities of piss (beer that is). anyway drop me line if u into old jappas especially gs models or if u can give me the heads up on buckets. cheers ta p.s i dont own a car... i ride my bike evryday rain or snow or woteva

    Welcome mate. dangerous, Kickaha, Rashika,Tony B and a few others will be along shortly to let you know about the CHCH bucket scene. Its quite big down this end I believe

    Hmmm, um yup lookin at it now i do type in txt... funny in the many yrs of trainin they gave me 2 b a nurse they didnt include typin. (silly really when u consider the amount of paper wrk we r bogged dwn wth now dayz). jus 2 help u out sarge, although i luv bein a nurse its not my whole life. ive been a cusoms officer, freezing wrker, bouncer, karate instructor, cafe owner, auctioner, and band vocalist. what im tryin to say is that like many nurses i have been many things and many aspects of our past lives continue into our current lives. thats how we can build rapport and relationships with the ppl we care for... oh an jus so its clear for evry1 im 35, male, two kids, heterosexual, 2nd dan black belt, and I LUV BIKZ

    Nah, they are never alone. They tend to prowl around quitely pouncing on new comers and regaling them with stories of bikes while waving CX cams and fairings around.

    Get in touch with Dangerous and kickaha. They're into old bikes (one of them is also into new bikes of a European variety, and the other is just cheap. You'll figure it out) and bucket racing.
