I'm no expert but an entire new paint job, decals, labour and whatever other bits you need replacing on a 9 year old bike, it could run close to a financial right off, I wonder what the insurance company will say.

Hmm you would think that they would want to shut you up as quickly and quietly as possible. Surely this would be a matter for OSH to deal with.
I maen if one window went who is to say more wont?

    Bike has been written off.

'Window Experts' are supposed to be looking at what if anything caused the window to break/fall out. 12 days on and it still hasn't been looked at. Had a discussion with the building managers today who said that 'if' they can find a reason for the breakage etc then a claim can be made. If however no reason can be determined then it's classed as an 'act of god', and I'll go kicking and screaming to the media. I have not only lost my excess but also my no claims bonus, meaning that the quote for my new bike has nearly doubled
