Rode in a carpark off Rosebank road... eventually passing by basic handling test

Hopefully not too far off i'll be posting real rides

On a side note coming along Scenic drive in my car on saturday someone on a blue sports bike went flying past the other way... anyone from here? Further behind him were two people riding pretty close too.

Would you have been heading up the Takas about 11:30am. I passed a bike with an L plate, tootling along pretty slowly and then saw a bigger Cruiser waiting a bit further up the road, just before the Takas. I remember thinking "someone's heading up the Takas for the first time, and isn't it nice to see he's got a friend to lead him over the hill"
I was in that position a year ago - had my other half on his busa to lead me, can be pretty scary the first time. Especially when it is windy.
