    Smaps

    http://www.smaps.co.nz/

A few of you could find this handy if visiting someone in the city or staying with a KB'er. Could be very handy if planning stops on a tour?

EDIT: If this does prove to be useful depending on what people think. Would it be worthwhile as a sticky in the meetings and events part of the forum?

Some nice software found my street just typing it in!

Though thats as its the only one in New Zealand with that name.

Try finding cameron street in new plymouth is a bit harder as it does not come up in the initial list and typing the town name does not narrow the search which I though was a bit of poos programming

Thanks for bringing that to light Sniper, very impressive - found my house in seconds. Might have to let the pizza guy know about it.

Showed Mrs Oakie where her mother's new house in Hawea. F*ck it. Now we have to go and visit.

Awesome. And fast. Although it can't get to Sir William Pickering Drive in Christchurch, despite much persuasion, it gets fixated on William Pickering Drive at Albany.

And somebody has stuck a dirty great thumbtack in our front lawn! Run, run for your lives...

I use Zoomin a bit. Can give aerial photos of the same view. Tells you shops and stuff in the area too.

Ha, I just checked - the same company is behind both Zoomin and Smaps. Shoulda read MrMelon's post better eh?
