How many accidents in the last year?

Just doing a little research on bikers and accident rates: How many accidents have you been involved in in the last 12 months?

Includes any spill, bin, drop, crash, scrape etc while on a public road (incl car parks etc) riding or driving a road going motor vehicle (car, bike, truck etc). Doesn't matter if it was your fault or not.

Open poll, nothing to be ashamed of......

ugh I'm embarrassed... (not in chronological order)
1 at about 60 around corner, lost tyre or grip, or peg bit in, slid across road

1 at 30 in wet, small slide across road

1 at about 35, same corner as wet slide, couldn't turn sharp enough (n00b!) and hit the curb and fell over lol

1 at 10, again didn't turn enough, stared directly at the patch of gravel I was afraid of, and rode into it. Slipped and fell over.

Last one at 0.4km/h, trying to park bike on steep slope, back tyre slid out on the gravel and fell on top of me.

I should really post this in Jokes and Humour, but whatever.

    -Consults rule book-
If it's a designated road or state highway and your vehicle is road legal and your intent while on the beach was to get from A to B (ie no off road shennanigans), then yes.

But if it's going to skew the stats then no.

I've been quite lucky I think, not to have crashed/binned/dropped in the past 12 months(touch wood!) Unfortunately I was first on the scene at a serious crashe this year. Put a real damper on the ride and I missed out on lunch. Being in that situation made me more aware of how riding beyond ones limits can bum out the whole day for others as well.

Although there was that one time when my tyre exploded, I crashed, slid into a parked car, died, the gas tank exploded, throwing me in to the air, then I hit the asphalt again, died, got run over by a truck, tossed into the path of a bus, and died again.
Then my pacemaker exploded in the incinerator, and I died yet again.

I hate it when that happens....
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....
