I'm glad you came out of it OK..... but would be curious about the time the car was reported stolen compared to your off.

True - but I expect it'll be a charred shell in a remote gully before long (sorry - but hell.. if I was going to cover my tracks...)

Did you get a semi decent description of the driver?

    Gender, Age, Race, distinguishing features?

Don't give up though. Keep at it - one day you'll get some satisfaction out of it.

Yes, thats actually what my work mates said. Sometimes cars suddenly get "stolen" after they've been involved in something like this, but it has actually been missing for 2 weeks

So where's the damage on the car? Noticeable? Take it it's the rear... which side?

Glad to hear you escaped relatively lightly PGTR.
A lesson for all those that ride around without insurance maybe?

Bummer dude, glad to hear you are ok, even if a bit sore.
Take care and best of luck with the repairs.

Man the cunts deserve to have their heads ripped off especially considering they stole the car in the first place.

At least you didn't look too bad today, hope that leg gets better man.

Hope your insurance sorts out your bike quickly as well.
You know you had a good nite when you have to ask someone if you had a good nite.

From the type I bike I am guessing a younger rider hence the excess is likely to exceed the cost of repairing the bike from a minor slide, insurance is of no gain in this case.

My excess is $500 Saslex, better than what the main companies offered ($1,500)

Glad to hear that you got to walk away from it all. Still its a shitty thing to happen, I know! I had a woman fail to stop at the scene when she took me out years ago. In court she explained that her reason for not stopping is that she thought she had killed me! She didnt want to "deal" with the body by herself and went & got her partner. Arrived back at the scene as they were loading me into the ambo and was duly charged.
Will keep a look out for it since Im working in the area, but as its already been said its probably toasted by now.
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face.

Ouch - at least you're able to post this and talk about it. Hope the insurance comes through quickly and some info comes your way about the miscreants. Paybacks always a bitch and they've got it coming with interest.

Soooo ... you going to replace your bike or get a different model?
