That's some twisted shit Mal. Least she came back to face the music. I almost feel lucky that my prangs have been, um, largely solo.

I'm pretty sure it's fixable. Biggest thing is the fairing damage.

Not as young as you might think. My excess is only $300, which will be barely more than the cost of the helmet.

    Awful.

If the the person who stole it is stupid to have not converted it by now, they are stupid enough to get caught.

    Arghh!!!!

I can't handle this. I haven't so much as thrown my leg over a bike in 3 days. Thats the longest I've gone since I got my bike a year ago. Still not sure of the fate of her. Last I heard, they were waiting on prices for parts.

The sad thing is, my legs well enough to ride, I just don't have my bike, or a helmet , for that matter

    Update on the situation

Bike is probably a write off.

The biggest issue is they don't make the fairing parts anymore. It's still up to State yet, but Welly MC's reckon the dream is over.

On a brighter note, the police have caught the bastard that hit me!!
He's only been arrested on the car theft charge so far. They just need to prove he was driving the car at the time he hit me.

So, a bit of good and a bit of bad

I'm getting the helmet on my bike insurance and my gear held up really well, the only thing that was stuffed was my wet weather pants. At $70 they're not worth claiming

    Good news, considering the situation.

If there is a court date, post it here. I'd love to see what such a slimeball looks like.
