Had a late start, went over the Haywards met up with some others,
Up the Takas, stopped and talked some shit.
Down the other side (sorry to the guy on the red Hyosung for nearly clipping you but it wouldnt have been as close if you held the same line through the whole corner) out through Featherston,Martinborough,Gladstone Pub for lunch.
Carried on out over the Gladstone hill climb through the back roads to Masterton, back along Gladstone through to Matinborough for coffee.
    Back over Rimatakas and home.
    Good ride but COLD!

Indy and myself went for a short ride from the Shore to Whatipu, or close to it. Poured down on the way back, but it was still a good ride.

Round Pauatahanui Inlet, over Haywards to Caltex. Missed mates by 5 mins but thought, what the hell, went over Taka's to Carterton anyway. Caught up with the mates for coffee in Carterton. Same route back but that head wind certainly slowed the return journey down a bit.
I'm only wearing black until they develop something darker

Me and my brother hopped on our GN's and rode up to the Brooklyn windmill, to look over our new city. Ben (my bro) commented "oh, I haven't really gone around corners before much", as he is a learner like me, only a few hundred k's under our tyres.

Then back down the hill to Mitre 10, to get paint to paint the bike Drab Olive Green (a million GN250's in NZ, and only mine is a military GN) and I also attached an offroad tyre to the front mudguard to make it look tougher.
I'll post pictures of it eventually, once it's all ratted up army styles.
I'm painting the engine black tomorrow, if the weather holds off.
Determined to kill my bike before it kills me

If you are going to pass a slower bike (or car) it is your responsibility to make it a safe pass.
The guy/girl you are passing probably has no idea you are going around them.

True, but sometimes folk change lines abrubtly when you're abeam them and there's not alot you can do.
