over the haywards and grays road to piecock-found out i,d left my wallet @ home ,so went back and then over the piecock hill and back to the hutt via grays road again, damn there were some bikes out today, must have been about 25-30 a caltex rimataka this morning when i headed out.
Gone to bed with a 10 @ 2 and woken up with a 2 @ 10 (Willie Nelson)
Had a late start, went over the Haywards met up with some others,
Up the Takas, stopped and talked some shit.
Down the other side (sorry to the guy on the red Hyosung for nearly clipping you but it wouldnt have been as close if you held the same line through the whole corner) out through Featherston,Martinborough,Gladstone Pub for lunch.
Carried on out over the Gladstone hill climb through the back roads to Masterton, back along Gladstone through to Matinborough for coffee.
Back over Rimatakas and home.
Good ride but COLD!
Did 300km according to my GPS from home to home again on this ride http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...ad.php?t=33831
Cheers

have you got your bike going again Magua?
Round Pauatahanui Inlet, over Haywards to Caltex. Missed mates by 5 mins but thought, what the hell, went over Taka's to Carterton anyway. Caught up with the mates for coffee in Carterton. Same route back but that head wind certainly slowed the return journey down a bit.
I'm only wearing black until they develop something darker
We came, We listened, And in one voice we answered
BULLSHIT!! BULLSHIT!! BULLSHIT!! BULLSHIT!! BULLSHIT!!
But did yesterday , went on the CPR ride YEEEAH, it was ok. I suppose
Me and my brother hopped on our GN's and rode up to the Brooklyn windmill, to look over our new city. Ben (my bro) commented "oh, I haven't really gone around corners before much", as he is a learner like me, only a few hundred k's under our tyres.
Then back down the hill to Mitre 10, to get paint to paint the bike Drab Olive Green (a million GN250's in NZ, and only mine is a military GN)and I also attached an offroad tyre to the front mudguard to make it look tougher.
I'll post pictures of it eventually, once it's all ratted up army styles.
I'm painting the engine black tomorrow, if the weather holds off.
Determined to kill my bike before it kills me
And I was slaving away on "the lump"
The best way to forget all your troubles is to wear tight underpants.
Masterchop this will be you then http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/at...3&d=1155450091
See the rest of my Gladstone pics on this thread http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...ad.php?t=33831
