There is also a grey Holden driven by a 'road safety onlooker', saw it following two cruisers on 16 today shortly after passing the said 600.....

Well. they didn't get me when I was using my new found horseys. That would have been 'go straight to jail, do not pass go, do not collect $200."

some people actually want to see what there bike can do through some twisties. if you like driving in the city sticking to the speed limit good on ya. Most people buy bikes because they love the speed of them. im only suggesting an alternative.

215kph on SH16 nowdays has got to be pushing your luck.

    There are alternative roads north.

I think 200+kph on anyroad has got to be pushing it - keep those kind of speeds for the track - they don't belong on the roads.

Nah, before Sh16 got so popular and plod-ridden there were bits where 200 odd was reasonable enough.

But for the last couple of years its been overrun by Ethels and Plods.

My opinion is that it IS dangerous to be doing those speeds on an open road where innocent people are tootling along mind their own business, never mind the capabilities of the rider - they have nothing to do with it. It puts other road users at unnecessary risk. Keep it for the track IMHO.
