    MV vs, Honda

I'm gonna try something new, that is talk about bikes for a change.

Since getting the MV 4 months ago, the world’s best superbike has been gathering dust in the garage along with the other poor excuses for attempted escapism from the daily bullshit.

I've ridden the MV every day since then it is now my main commuter. Many may view this as sacrilege but given what it replaced, I consider it a very cheap alternative. Now only those that have ridden an MV could even come close to explain the experience. It is 100% bike. Raw, brutal and does what its fucken told and doesn't piss about.

Now stay with me, I'm coming to my point. Every work day and weekend, I get ready, go to the garage and always throw my leg over the MV. However, this morning was different. I decided to jump on the Honda. It didn't take long to appreciate what a fantastic bike it is. I almost felt sorry for neglecting it for so long. Smooth, precise, nimble & refined. I thought to myself "fuck, I wish the MV was this smooth"

Actually I don't know what my point is, you see, I've been drinking. Quite a lot, but I will say this; nothing has given me the same satisfaction as bikes. I've spent ridiculous money on cars over the years and the thrill has always been short lived. Since I was a kid, I always wanted a Porsche. At the age of 35 I got one. It took 6 months to arrive and on the way home, I thought "okay, where's the buzz?" it never happened. 2 weeks later, it was a mode of transport taking up space in my garage. I've been riding bikes for 1 year now, and every time I throw my leg over 2 wheels, I get the same buzz I got when I was 6 years old and Santa introduced me to 2 wheels.

    In short, I like bikes.

It's got nothing to do with money. My Street Magic would be more fun than a Nissan Primera.

I wasnt getting at the money thing. For me biking is still unreal, exciting and thrilling. The great escape. I have only been riding for 6 months or so!

Not big enough for a dachshund?

You need to upgrade your accomodation.

I've already got a Schnauzer. Coincidently, his name is Finn. Finn has no balls and likes walks in the park. No jokes please.

There's an infraction right there. You've taking this thread off topic. You're a mod and should know better, however if anyone complains tell them I said it was okay. After all, it is my thread and anything goes.
