Interesting how one hears of 'typical problems' from just one person ...

Someone else has said that cam chains give up - but I've only heard of that one bike, and my mechanic (at Boyle's) hasn't heard of that particular issue at all.

The guy at Boyle's did say that people will too often use some silicone gasket replacement, use too much and the remaining globs end up wandering round the journals till they block something up, causing any kind of failure ... but that could happen on any bike.

Mine has a problem all right, but it's neither of those.

Perhaps, but that one is a Spada
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Yes, that's a good bike, and seems very good value
