    Watch your speed

    On the Fanshawe Street offramp.

Plod has been camping out here quite a bit recently and I see that they are at it again this afternoon.

One plod car down by the BP on Fanshawe and a motorbike plod with a laser on the corner of Fanshawe and Halsey catching people coming off the offramp on to Fanshawe St who have forgotten to apply their brakes

I have noticed a lot of cop cars recently pulling people up along the motorway. I often wonder why because everyone is basically doing a constant 80kph at most - in rush hour you can't go much more than that anyway. What are they stopping people for?

Fucking buses are the worst vehicles in the city.

Speed, red light running and unsignaled lane changes a specialty.

and the cunts still don't run on time.

My office is on the corner of Fanshawe and Halsey and I look down Halsey to the bus depot. The way the drive in and out of the depot is terrifying. Every day I will see at least 5-6 occassions where they just pull out on trucks, cars, motorbikes and cyclists without a care. Seen them hit the occassional parked car opposite the exit from the depot, sometimes they stop to leave a note.

Also another recent hotspot is the Nelson Street offramp, they have been setting up quite regularly there for red light runners

This is true. But, in fairness to the drivers, the schedules they are expected to maintain are completely impossible.

I spent some amount of time riding on 'buses about a year ago (I wanted to condemn the service and the value the rate payer receives for the subsidy, which I could hardly do without getting first hand experience). I took note of the task the drivers had to deal with, and it is by no means an easy one. And for a very miserly pay rate .

The 'bus company management have a lot to answer for.

I don't think they are on a schedule when they have a big "SORRY NOT IN CERVIX" sign in the front window, and those pricks REALLY drive like maniacs.
