So what exactly do you have to do in the restricted and full licence tests? I have a friend who is looking at a chopper style of bike but is not sure if it will be able to u-turn but if he manages to get that he is just wondering what other things will be in the test.

Not one of those mini choppers is it? Cos you can't do the test on anything with a moped rego. Has to be full bike rego (can be a scooter), with WoF and all the goodies.

Test is very easy from all accounts, almost impossible to fail, just ride around for about 15 minutes. Don't do anything stupid and make sure you don't break any road rules, that's about it.

Haha nah aint a mini chopper just one hes gettinh imported but its quite raked out. I thought you had to do a u-turn and figure eights or something?

Yep. You've gotta do u-turns, and no putting your feet down.

as long as he can do a U turn he will be sweet! test is easy, just a bit of riding around.
