    Only 43 years to go

Today I have the misfortune to turn 50.

Only 43 years left until I achieve my aim of

being shot by a jealous husband

    on the rise

whilst just reaching the vinegar stroke.

Next week It will be 35 years since I passed my bike licence.

A much better reason to celibrate.

Tonight I will pay homage to Bachaus and in particular that wonderful discovery

    RUM.

I have a litre waiting for me and I do intend to honour those sugar crystals that gave up their life in the fermentation procedure so as to afford me the joy of getting

    Out of my mind bolloxed.

    Chris

You and Bacchus stay off the roads tonight, and away from humans tomorrow !!
    Good man - Happy Birthday.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

On ya! Shucks, you been riding longer than I've been alive! Try not to do anything too stoopid while rarking down the rum - like getting tattooed and shanghaied onto a naval vessel!

I think you should go out for a nice long bike ride beforehand though! No wonder we didn't see ya around yesterday, you were out shopping in the local grog outlets!

Good on yer Dai - have one on me mate I just want to live to a ripe old age without Mrs B sticking something sharp in me!

I plan to semi-retire in just over a year, a momentous and slightly scary step.

    Have a great day.

    Congratulations Chris!

If you finish that bottle tonight, the PRDA might send you a membership application.
