I frequently find myself at the top speed of my bike and my car. Never in town or populated areas. Oh and I don't care what you think.

hmm... am i gonna get in the paper too?

I remember back in the day on my 250 i passed a cop heading the other way on SH16 doing a tad over 130kmh and he didnt even turn around, and that was on a straight too. Needless to say that i'd maxxed the ZXR out in a couple of places along that Old North - Peak - SH16 - Wellsford route.

Back when i got the R6 i was on SH16 three days in a row. I wasnt quite on my full licence and managed X54kmh in one or two places.

In saying that though, there is a time and a place, if you get caught then take the heat. Good luck with your court case mate, judging by the timing of you getting your ticket we might be in court around the same time.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

That would be nearly every person with a licence in New Zealand...

Damn right, most would rather admit having a small wizzer or flat chest than admit they are a bad rider/driver.

    I can't believe what I'm reading.
I think you'll find that the cops were already checking the road out, or he wouldn't have been caught speeding. It sounds like the chicken and egg argument. According to the theory of evolution, it was the egg that was first, by the way.
If you truly abide by your signature line, then you have got nothing to worry or comment about. If you don't abide by it, then I think its a bit rich that you think you have the right to speed on a certain bit of road to the exclusion of everybody else just because they might attract the fuzz that was already there in the first place.
