How many accidents in the last year?

This is just past 12 months,

last accident in motor vehicle was 6 years ago i would say(in a car even)

I average one speeding ticket a year, which as a whole i am happy with, one ticket for doing 115-120km each year i can live with, if i get away with rest of year

Yeah, but that doesn't count , cos as I heard it you ended up doing a triple somersault back into the saddle and rode off.

One I hit a car that pulled out on me between the passenger door and back door somewhere between 50 and 100kph and broke my femeur in 5 places, not another scratch on me.. 2 blood transfusions, 7 days in hospital and 4 months off work on acc and a 40cm rod in my leg the diamater of an old 50c piece !!!!!

My next one was after I spent those 4 months rebuilding my bike, took it out for its maiden voyage, I had to make brackets for the callipers because they didnt fit the new set of forks... - the callipers were rubbing on the discs, 15mins into the maiden voyage the friction caused them to heat up and sieze at 60kph... front wheel locked, I was thrown over the handlebars and up the road...

Those were on my nsr, I had 2 on that bike before that, and 1 on my old gn..

Next I got an aprilia rs250... Not a scratch on it for 5 months - then got knocked off by a car and written off, insurance paid out and I got a 2000 rs250... On the 4th day of ownership did 700km in one day, heading home I was braking for a corner and went onto the front wheel at bowt a 100, wasnt going thru the corner like that so aimed it between the 2 fences, got airbourne, hit the other side of the ditch - bike stayed where it was and I flew about 20 feet before sliding another 40... Not a scratch on me
Bike bent the frame - front wheel moving back 75mm
Got it back 3 days ago and am the worlds slowest driver on the road, Have no intention of going caning on backroads, I now strictly obey road rules and speed limits, Im going to the track.

Wow sounds like a complete change of heart for someone who was 'cruising' at 150kmh.
Curious - did this change of heart happen immediatley after the crash, or over the ensuing months?

I always told myself that I'd slow down. Then someone pointed out that I ride an FXR. It don't go fast.

I went for two, but not sure if dropping it in the garage counts. So probably only one, stalling at an intersection and dropping (thankfully the husbands) bike on myself.

never crashed a road bike (so many times it could have gone the other way, cars/rear end giving out etc).

Crashed my old KDX and broke my shoulder...but that doesn't count (who says roadbikes are more dangerous!!!)

Just curious but how's it research on bikers if we can count car crashes too?

Past 11 years 0 bike bins and 2 car write-offs.
