Strange how you miss people so much more some days than others. The ups and downs eh?

    Indeed, Joni. Not forgotten.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

I was showing a friend the Scared Sheep Squadron dvd on Saturday and on seeing both guys, explained to my mate that they were sadly no longer with us.

Although I only knew Bruce from pm's and talking on here, I'm reminded of him when I look at the rear disc on my bike as I bought it off of him about a week before the accident. Still got the box under my desk at work.

Just an idea Guys and Gals.....a few years ago now, a good friend of mine passed away in nasty circumstances. We (his close friends) contacted our local Council and had them build and install a memorial seat complete with plaque, on the side of Mt Vic here in Wellington.

We go up there from time to time and have a drink to his memory.

It's not expensive, and it's a great way to remember a lost friend.

I can see his seat from the lounge in my apartment, and it gets used all the time. It gives me a great feeling to know that most people that sit there, will read the plaque and wonder who this guy was!

Would anyone be keen to sort out such a seat for the KB'ers missing in action?

I know who to contact now.....so it wouldn't take long to sort?

    Pete

I too think of both guys daily, I bought 66 off of LB.
I consider it an honour to own and take care of that bike.

To true. The bike contains something money cannot buy.

Nicki - The boys will never be forgotten, as long as there are riders out there riding, they (the fallen riders) are riding with us.

Makes me green with envy the way you folks can get technology to do wonderfule things like these photos. Thankyou so much for sharing your talents with all of us...I know that both of us families will treasure these pics. I close my eyes some days and can see Daryl right there, looking down on us all. I just wish I could reach out and touch him, hug him, tell him how much I miss him.....So in the meantime all I have now are wonderful memories and some superb photos. Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou, sooooo much. One day I'll return the 'favour' by showing you all some photos of DSS3 when he was on a motorbike when he was a little whippersnapper..... C some of you at easter. D
