He touched my heart and changed my life. I will always treasure the short time we had.
My wife couldn't believe that he was still single! I guess she thought that he was pretty easy on the eye too?

He made an impression on our family too, even my four year old daughter misses them both and asks us why we don't see them any more.

    Hello All

Refering to the post i did the other day about writing a book about bruce i've decided to go ahead with this and have LooseBruce's parents blessing and this weekend i'm going to start work on this there are 3 main reasons for writing this book

    1. For Hunter(his son) to have and read and see what a great man his daddy was/is
    2. For all that would like to relive the great times and see behind the man
    3. As my tribute to LB

I can just hear LB as i write this up saying (yeah i'm cool, they writing a book about me)

Anyone that has stories photos about him pm me and i'll msg back e-mail address

Take care all and safe riding and look forward to hearing from you

My Aim is to have the book completed by dec 2

I stopped at the crash site today. It's the first time I've been able to since Bruce and Daryl died. Such an awesome piece of road, such awesome mates. From the point I turned onto that road, I fell into the groove, new bike and broken collarbone be damned. Thanks guys

I couldn't agree with you more about it being a peaceful spot. Of all the areas along that piece of road it is a beautiful area.....funny you should post this when you did, I was talking to Bruces folks yesterday about the memorial day and we were all saying the same. Looks like the memorial day will be veyr memorable, ?c u there? Come and introduce yourselves guys...I'll be in a much better place emotionally this time! And the flower is still bright! Jenie, I didn't realise you put an everlasting bloom there...very appropriate - the boys will be everlasting in our minds too.. Love you all, Dale

I'm glad to hear that you'll be in a better emotional place when we see you next Dale. Watching you speak at Daryl's funeral was the hardest thing I've ever seen.

See you in a couple of weeks,
    Gavin

i don't think i will be able to make it down easter weekend as i do not have a bike at the moment, but i'm going to try get a lift down, and when i get my next bike my first big ride will be down to there,

bruce was infact the person who really got me into riding when he met me in came a young lad into hell pizza on a little 50cc chinese monkeybike, which at the time i looked at my friend tristans zxr250 and dreamed of owning one one day but thoughti never really could, bruce somehow talked me into it and said cmon get yourself a 250 you will never look back it will give you great thrills,

so out i went and bought myself a zxr250a which was a model of bike he owned once upon a time.

and i was free, out on the open road , freedom for the first time in my life, i don't think i ever could have had that without bruce, and alot of the riding tips he gave me here and there have saved my life when i have come into a corner going way too quick,

he was a truely great man and there is not a single day that goes by that i do not miss him ,

he is in my thoughts often, i ride in his memory, R.I.P buddy, my wheelies are dedicated to you , may heaven be an endless windy road.

    regards: Mark
