Can't believe it could be true!

My gut is twisted and my hands are shaking too.......

Uncle B, The man who taught me all I know about riding and bike maintenance. The man I spent %80 of my rides with.

We've lost one of the greatest KB'ers today. Top bloke who was a top mentor.

Uncle B was more than a motorcyclist, he was a good friend whether on or off a bike.

    RIP my friend!

    My sincerest condolences to Debbie......

A wee memory of our great ride recently to the Takakas.....

I haven't been logging into KBer much over the ast 12 months but, Bruce was 1 of the KBers I have always held in high regard.

Bruce - you will be greatly missed.

Dont know what to say -

Unfortunately, never had the pleasure of meeting him, but I can tell, just like LB and Darryl, that he was a good bugger, and someone who will be sorely missed.

Really sad to see another great life taken.

Our Father who Art in heaven
    Hallowed be thy name
    Thy kingdom come
Thy will be done on earth
    As it is in heaven
    Give us this day
    Our daily bread
    And forgive us our trespasses
As we forgive those who trespass against us
And lead us not into temptation
    But deliver us from evil
    For thine is the kingdom
    The power and the glory
    Forever and ever
    Amen

Bruce I will miss you, you will always be my mentor.

Moira has just said 'How fragile life is...and now it is just gone.'

The tears are too many I must sign off.

    Goodbye good friend.

Simply terrible. I've never met UncleB, but reading over his comments on the site, and over the mentoring he gave BuckBuck in his newbie thread, I couldnt help but get the impression he was a geniunely good bugger. RIP Bruce, and condolences to his family and friends.

I didn't know Bruce other than to enjoy his posts on this site.
That's another Bruce gone to a better place, although far too early for one held in such high regard. As a fellow Bruce, and from the 'rapa, I'd be mighty nervous if I was home thinking about going for a squirt on my bike this weekend, I'm almost relieved to be at work.
I'm sorry not to have met you mate, I'm sure the pleasure would have been all mine.

Only met the man once. And was a genuine and friendly type.

Sad, really sad. R.I.P. and condolences to his family and friends.

It's times like this that you realise that "family" is more than just the people you are related to.

Not sure what to say, Bruce put his hand out to mentor me, first night we met as total strangers and we talked bikes for about 3hrs, Bruce had an answer for all my crazy questions and advice galore for a noob like me. Hes an awesome guy whom i considered a great mentor and friend. He made a huge point about safety and was willing to help me out whenever i wanted. Im totally devastated to read this news and still deep down inside cant believe its true. I will miss him deeply.

My deepest sympathies to his family and to those riders whom he has touched over the years - he will always have a place in my heart and i will always ride with him mentoring me from above.
