    Gaby's first ride

Well I said I'd do it http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...ad.php?t=37649 and now I have.
My grand-daughter Gaby took her first ride as my pillion (strapped into her car seat which was securely bungied to the bike) on Sunday at the ripe old age of 5 weeks and 3 days. She loved it ... not a word of complaint. Yeah OK, she slept right through it but then again it was only up and down the drive twice. Never mind. Little Miss is now officially a Biker Chick!

American dad: So you just pound on it for two minutes until your done?

Cool, mate! I'd like to take my 5yr old nephew for a short ride, but I am on my R and am not allowed. Plus my sis (his mum) would probably kill me if I suggested it...
Me and my imaginary friend have been goin' round the bend for some time now....

They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
    we will remember them

Cheers. I'm actually 46 (on the outside). It's in the genes. The male ancestors on my mum's side of the family of the family all looked young for their age. It's really amusing the number of times I've been mistaken for both my daughters' brother, partner or boyfriend. Emma used to get in trouble at school when we'd occasionaly meet for lunch in town as it would be reported back that "Emma's permission slip said she was seeing her father but she was seen at lunchtime walking thu town with her boyfriend".

Yeah well being asleep will give that appearance I guess.

As for her future bikes, she is in turns rowdy and then placid so perhaps she'll have a sportsbike and a cruiser depending on her mood. I will confirm though that she does already have good grip in her throttle hand.
