    Best bikes for tall bugger

Eventually gonna upgrade (currently GN-ing it up, with a BMW windscreen on the front...) to a more powerful and more handsome bike.

    Issue: I'm 6 foot 5 tall.

Tall riders / motorcycle sales people please help me. What bikes are best for tall buggers? I like cruisers.
To split or not to split, that is the question

Maybe you do like cruisers, but if you are as tall as you say then I think you'll find an adventure bike such as a Suzuki DL or a BMW GS would be more fitting.

Hi brother! How's the lounge? I'm in my bedroom.
Anyway, here's a link to a similar discussion started back in May. But that discussion was limited to 250cc bikes, you'll be moving up beyond that, a 600 or so?

I vote Lorax the tallest Kiwibiker!

He'd be in contest with Big Dave.

Rocket III maybe? The Virago 1100 suits me and I'm 6'3". Just have to go have test rides and such man see what you feel most comfortable on.

Yeh, I'm 6'5" and Dave is taller than I. He rides a buell and seems to think that's quite comfy so it might be worth considering. Of course, with height generally comes weight, so the extra torque comes in handy.

Havn't got a clue about cruisers personally, but if you take something out for a test ride see if you can take it for a longer ride to really judge it, any make sure whatever you get has adjustable suspension so you can raise up the ride height a little if necessary.

I dunno about crusiers either - but recently had a similar choice - went for an ER6n (with tall seat option) in the end, although a Blackbird may be on the cards later this year if I can persuade the missus

I'm just loving my M109R, best scooter I have ever ridden. I'm 6"1' and it fits well.

I'm 6'4" and I found the Vmax and M109R to be very comfy cruisers. Thing is that most cruisers are gonna be comfy - just have the fun of test riding a few (day long tests too - none of this round the block shit)

Yamaha Tedium 900 or Suzuki V-strom. KLR650 not a bad bike for tall folks either.
