Talking Thanks to Nigel for stopping on NW Motorway

This is just a quick post to say thanks to Nigel (I would hate to admit this but I have a terrible memory for names, so I could be wrong) however, I got a big flat tyre this morning half way down the NW motorway into Auckland and he was the only biker that stopped to see if I was ok.

Thanks mate - it means a lot. (you know who you are - Red RF600/900 and shoulder Kiwi Biker patch)

Ironically I had just started work this week for AMPS so a quick phone call to the guys in the shop and got me'self a lift into work. However that's not the point. Praise where it's due .

Oh that reminds me (assuming I've got your name right) I owe you for the can of tyre goo that didnt work, so drop me a line through here and I'll drop the cash to you or if you prefer a replacement can of goo and some alcohol or whatever as a thankyou let me know.

Oh and I found a reason the tyre goo didnt work - didnt realise my tyres are tubed (spoked wheels ! DOH !) the stuff just didnt have a chance !

So that ends the sermon according to Chris

I've been here about 6 weeks and I have to say - seems like the Kiwi Bikers are some of the best people I've met so far.

Cheers all - nice meeting you.

    Chris

There were others who didn't stop? Shame on them

A biker ALWAYS stops. 'Tis the Biker Law and the Unwritten Gospel .

    That's the guy ....

Well what more can I say - it makes your belief in the human race somewhat stronger when this happens.

As for Lou - yep - met him during the week. Pretty much as the rest of the staff at AMPS - a really nice crew. They've all made me feel very welcome - albeit busy !

    I'll ping mandownunder now

    Cheers all

    Chris

LOL mate no worries. Tis the waterfall theory of life... others did me favours, I pass them on in turn... keeping them till it's payback time takes too bloody long anyway - and I have the same memory problems as you so... yaaaa... y'know.

Now do us a favour and get your butt on the Thu night ride... come and meet a few more. The first beer's on me.

That's very generous of you Nige, but given there's usually about 50 bikes turn up that might get a bit expensive eh?

Depending on what brand of beer you are getting in.......
some are very expensive....... you may have to get a bank loan out today to cover it.
