I would like to go on the next track day and do the rusty nuts (a rally??), so will need to clarify the cover or change insurer?

Is there an insurer who provides cover for a rally.
Would doubt a rally would fall in to any category but would pay to check and keep us advised!

    'That' kind of bike...

Going to pick the brand new Speed Triple up tommorrow.

Thought I'd organise insurance with the usual for us, AMI, where we've been lifetime customers with everything with them.

They said they'd only insure the Triumph because of us being the above, as they are quote ..... 'that kind of bike'........

    $1600 a year, $800 excess for a crash and $1500 for theft.
The VTR was only $600 a year.

    Fuck's sake I'm 42, not a 18yr old hoon.

Well its covered for now but I'm not happy and yeah think I'll look elsewhere, and I know theres countless threads on insurance but from memory is it Classic Insurance or something like that that most of you guys use?

    'That kind of bike ffs'..........

.....and yeah, I know what they meant by that..........fuckers.

Yep - Classic Cover. They really do the best deals
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Dooly I got the same sort of response for the X11 from my broker with similar prices, I am 39 riding 20+ years no claims yada yada. There are definitely better deals out there. I eventually went through the Honda Riders Club and it was circa $450p.a. one rider, cant remember excess but not that flash eg somewhere around a grand.

BTW great choice of Bike, hope you enjoy it
