Dumping waste oil, brake fluid etc...where?

I did an oil change on the bikes and SUV a month ago. I had about 10 litres of crude so down the drain it went. That NZ, is for having a Green Party.

FYI, Westhaven marina has an oil dumping station if you can be arsed.

You must be very proud of your self. I think you should move to China where they maybe more tolerant of your actions ...but the further you get away from NZ...the better.

Just wish there was a way to report you. Polluting fines are massive.

Just a thought:

our roads are made of garvel and bitumen, bitumen is merely low grade oil.

logic therefore suggests we just tip all our used oil on the roads and save the untility companies time and money resealing..................

They do that already on a lot of gravel roads down here.

I hand my used oil to a local garage - they use it in their oil-fired heating system in the winter.
