Seriously that is one bike designer who should have his pen stuck where the sun dont shine. What a horrid horrid bike.

The most remarkable thing is that someone is (apparently) willing to pay $2800 for it. Which is only about $600 less than a new Yamaha Scorpio!

Don't know that the CGA has to do with this mans private sale... he isn't obliged to offer a warranty or anything like it... so long as he doesn't misrepresent what he's selling, that's it.

Yes,looks like a cheap, nasty hideous motorcycle & anybody who buys one, will probably never be able to get it road legal
But a funny read, all the same
"The road to Hell is really grippy with loads of run off & some wicked lefthanders"

OTOH, he selling a new bike, and if it breaks he says he'll charge to repair it!
    That's hardly fit for purpose.
He's also selling new motor vehicles and isn't (as far as I can tell) licensed to do so.

Pretty dodgy if you aks me.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

you're right, auctions are exempt from the CGA

I think the Govt is moving to close that loophole though since so many businesses are selling stuff by auction and are therefore exempt from warranty/guarantee claims

i love the colors, but no way would i go near it with a 10 foot barge pole! too many risks there....trademe will likely do him for trading outside of the site itself... contact details arent allowed, unless he was to pay $20 and run a classified.

They're allowed for motor vehicles, aren't they? Because you have to be able to check it out before buying.
