You lucky lucky bastard.
Enjoy the south. Get yourself down to Dunedin if ya can- real nice place (was a student there).
Great roads for riding (or so I hear. Driven them a lot- but only got a bike when I finished studying and moved up here...soooo South Island road trip for me sometime...???) Road from Dunedin thru to Alex via Roxborough (sp) along Clutha...mmm Lindis Pass mmm Milford Sound mmm Lewis Pass mmm West Coast mmm Haast Pass mmm McKenzie Country mmm
Yip, you lucky lucky bastard

We don't let just anyone in you know. There's the obligatory shout at Speights Ale House, the hoon around Ruapuna, Dangerous likes to wheelie every new bike that comes along...Its quite an initiation you've go to go through.
Are you up for it?
Yeah lucky you. I enjoyed every minute of the 5 years I lived in Christchurch and as they've said in threads above the roads are awesome. Besides the Peninsula even heading out West is great once you've got past Springfield on the Arthurs pass Road or North/West once you're on the Lewis Pass Road or in the Hundalees on your way to Picton. On the 6R those roads will be magic to you. As for South that's the boring bit on those damn straight roads so always go on one of the other roads..
Cheers
Merv
Good luck with your move, the South is beautiful, will have to do a ride down there oneday.... enjoy!!![]()

Don't see you all that often but sorry to see you go. CHCH is cool though (hmmm rock climbing at Castlehill) and some of the people down there aren't too weird![]()
"If life gives you a shit sandwich..." someone please complete this expression
Good to have know you, good luck with the Mainland.
Been good to know you while you have been in Welly man. All the best for down south.
You know you had a good nite when you have to ask someone if you had a good nite.
I only read the DomPost & KB.
Haha. Cheers guys. I'll see you around
Not everyone... (dumb question: which weekend is it?!)
I'll come up to Palmy with you when you pick up the new bike, if you want some company.
I feel a kind of comradeship with you since we both started riding about the same time, and both on FXRs, and often on the same rides. (Sadly you can now ride circles around me, but anyway...) I'll miss seeing you around. If we get to do a ride together with you on the 6R, I'll buy you a feed. Good luck with your move.
