Done a search and couldn't find any answers - do I legally have to have an odometer fitted for a WOF? It will have a speedometer but won't be recording km's.
Cheers

No. Just a device to indicate speed. Unless you have a diesel.

Perhaps others may know something different or clarify this point.
Failing this you can always ask the wof person or even lvvta or someone like this.
Have managed to get a bike through wof with a cycle computer, but did to be lit.
If you need to re-comply the rules are generally tougher...
Motorbike only search
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - CRC AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE CRC. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE
Cheers,
Rego on hold so hopefully won't have to re-comply.
An odo reading needs to be enterd, but it doesn't matter what the reading is....unless it's a diesel, they check WoF odo readings for RUC.

what kind of wof place are you going to? They sound tough.
Where I go they just check the headlight and indicators and ask me to do my own road test.
The road test involves locking up the back wheel and getting the forks to dive when I apply the front brake. That's it.
Forget the speedo.
