    Unhappy W650 - Now a Collectors Item

    Hi,

Found out the other day that Kawasaki have cesed production of the W650 classic (retro) twin. I was told if you have one - don't sell it as they will fast become a collector's item.

    Kinda sad - huh

In case anyone is interested Energy Honda have what appears at a glance to be a minter with I think 4,000Ks on the clock.

I think they are planning on selling that one.

It's still listed as a current model on the Japanese market website - along with the W400 (never actually seen one of those, they look quite nice).

Discontinued last year in the USA.

So maybe they are revertign to Japanese domestic market only, which was the original intention. japs are hot on retro.

No it was just marketed as such, big difference. Looks more like an old bonnie than the new bonnie does.

The "Kawasaki" from the sixties was a Megura, which was a copy of a BSA A10.
