    So does this seem like a good buy on trade me?

    Very cool but,

    If it was worth fixing, why is the reserve so low? And where you going to get parts from.
    Could have a bent frame, forks, fucked engine....

    An engine rebuild is gonna set you back $2k minimum. And there's not way its done 16000km in 17 years.

    Nobody's asked the obvious question. When was it last registered in NZ. Was it ever registered. If not, it may be near impossible to VIN.

    The seller refers to it having been registered but the plate was handed in so it should still have the original VIN number on it.
