btw, 127kmh should equal 35pts, so you're ok, aren't you?
90 + 35 = fcuk'd if the first 50 were pre april 05, won't know till the morning! I'm off for a smoke!

I got 75 demerits from one offence(two tickets). I do not like cops. i'll be walking when I get my fine.
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot
Is that possible. I thought there was a rule that only the single highest demerit relating to a single occasion was recorded?

It joins on to the top end of the Avenue des Champs Elysses and 3 - 4 other major roads, with a few more less major roads joining in just to keep things interesting... and interesting it is! With no road markings and that much traffic? It's total bedlam, though in an organised way as I never saw even a close call on it, just the usual Parisian honking of horns. There are a lot of bikes and scooters around Paris, but there are so many that car and bus drivers often defer to them. They can use bus and taxi lanes, and even have motorbike only lanes... but it's more that the car drivers usually know they're there.
Soapbox house of cards and glass, so don't go tossing your stones around.
You musta been.... high. You musta been...
Well, the first 50 demerits were put on my licence mid May 05, so I'm definitely up for a 3 month ban. Since I live way out west and work in town, should be ok to get a limited licence, had a read of the thread in the legal section, looks fairly straightforward, does anyone know if the LL can be arranged before being served with the suspension?

Speaking from personal experience there is no stand-down on demerit disq.
If you time it right you can have your LL application heard as they collect your license outside the court and be riding your bike home legally - depends on what your lawyer can negotiate with the cops for your limited.
The LL has to be done by a lawyer, they won't talk to mere citizens - expect to pay anything from $750 to $1500 in legal fees.
I got to ride the harley (or use the cage) over the full North Island as I'm self-employed, use the harley in all business promotions, got clients everywhere. License was from 7am to 7pm 6 days a week, Sundays walking.
And trust me, those sundays will always be the best fucking riding weather of the week!

There's certainly a one month standdown on a court ordered disqualification. But , technically, the demerit thing isn't a disqualification, it's a suspension. So maybe the stand down doesn't apply to them.

1. You're screwed
2. See a Lawyer
3. Arrange for service of notice at the court hearing
4. Include at least two vehicles on the application, if one becomes undrivable you cannot transfer the L/L to another vehicle without Judicial approval (I learn't that one the hard way)
5. Buy a good radar detector
Could always change countries and come back when you're legal again........
Well - it works for me......

Cage drivers are however, much more aware of bikes, it's become to be the norm for cars to move slightly left when a bike approaches from behind.

They tend to be more aware anywhere outside NZ. Automobile drivers in NZ are, frankly, fucking stupid for the most part and few know where their rear-view mirrors are or what they're for. To be able to undertake legally is insane and the sooner we get a minister of Things Relating to Sensible Motoring, the better.
