So why did you do it?

Probably been done before but anyway Why did you buy a bike? A cars much better, no plssing around taking 10 minutes to put your gear on, no checking to make sure its still got all its wheels, no having to pick it up if you forgot the sidestand, no having to strap stuff on the back wondering if it'll still be there when you get where your going (includes pillions), cold day just turn the heater on, wet day just wind the window up, turn on the wipers and demister to see out the window whereas on the bike you peer thru a half open fogged up visor at those vague shapes in front off you while wondering if you'll die from hypothermia as water dribbles down the back of your neck/trousers/gloves etc, hot days wishing you hadn't put that extra layer of clothing on just in case as you turn into a grease spot under all your gear, having to arrange to go for a ride with your mates when it would have been easier to pick them up in the car/van and go on a booze cruise/shopping trip and theres lots more reasons a car is better that you know up yourself.
    So if you've got a bike you must be certifiably nuts!!!!! .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .....................I've just allways liked bikes but I'm sane and your not!

Because daddy made me get my license and my sister already owned a bike Then, when I started earning decent money (23k a year haha) I'd been riding for four years so finally splashed out and bought my very own, brand spanking new VTR1000.

That's why we have both cars and bikes in our household, they each have a purpose and in our lives its cars, trains and planes are transport, while bikes are toys for fun.

Many don't ride bikes, because they want to stay alive.

The rest of us ride, so that we can feel alive.

Because the Biker Gods called to me.

Humanity is divided into two subspecies. The elite, the Chosen ones, to whom the Biker Gods have revealed themselves. They are on two wheels.

And the others, the untermenschen, the lesser breeds, without the Law, the forsaken, who have not heard the call, condemned to pass their lives in a grey, dreary semi-life. They are on four wheels.

My car was costing me freaking heaps to run in gas and tyres and I liked the appeal of a ridiculously fast little bike for bugger all! I was living in town too so didn't really need a car for anything at the time. Took a tzr for a test ride and I was sold!
