Kickstarter broken

my kickstart leaver slipped on the teeth today, need a quick fix sollution for tomorrow,any ideas? desparate.!

Do you have any splines left. If you do an you can find an oldfashioned METAL tube (toothpaste tube type of thing), a layer of tube over the shaft and bash the lever on with a hammer.

Alternatively get someone to run an arc welder over it. Big bead of 4mm or larger weld all round. You'll have to grind it off and you'll wreck shaft and lever but presumably they're already toast.

What about running a hacksaw blade or passing a thin file through the gap on the kickstart clamp so you can clamp it a bit tighter.
