Do not scrub your nose out with hot soapy water.
So tell us about the helmet - did you get it clean?

Yes, reasonably. after much scrubbing and some bleach. So now it sticks of chlorine.

The problem has not reoccured. So I will run with my theory of overheating. Leakage is an endemic problem with us older models.

It is all Mrs Ixion's fault. Ever since that pneumonia nonsense she has nagged me into wrapping up like a Michelin Man every time I go out. It's not healthy. I've put a stop to it and gone back to riding in shirt sleeves and open jacket. Better chilly than overheated.

I fear I have been getting old and soft. I need to harden up, that's the long and short of it. But I have a wee initiative afoot to facilitate that.

(I have checked into the blood pressure thing. Hawthorn is the stuff for that. I'll add it to my list. - Garlic too but I already use plenty of that)
